Nasa loved it. The Martian, Matt Damon tending to his own vegetable garden. What a fabulous idea. Made us all forget the Pale Blue Dot as seen from the Voyager and the hoopla around the Hubble  Space Telescope. 
Yup, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos all loved it. And we loved it. That’s why it was such a hit. The Future is Now gives The Martian a big Thumbs Up.
